lyrics

(round and round and round and round and)

It came at us like a curse
It was here before we were born
pulling all the wool from our eyes
putting all the wrong things in place
plucking all the light from the dark
and they've come to give you away
and they've come to strip off your bark

From behind the black veil exposed
so decreed before we were born
both meeting somewhere we've never been before
and where we'll never meet again
I'll see you there
I see you everywhere I turn
I couldn't bend so one and only future
that exposed a different past
and still I wonder where to put your face
a different cast disrobed
to taste decay, to face my back
the feet beneath my dirt
to paint the ground

and I'd spin round and round and round and round and round and round and round to win you back
I'll ride in black and blue but only safely bet
i won the curse to lose the war
a little more
(round and round)
a little more
(round and round)
just a little more
just a little more
