Now cast aside we will do this before we ride our nature will abide although you prey upon the pride Impress the mark, exiled, an 'X' upon the side Cast apart to frozen shores, never to reside To vow revenge does not concern the hero's mind We promise to survive despite your wish for us to die
2.
Each steamy morning I wake up, put on my suit of armor Its something that I don't regret, you know I must be bothered. You see inside I like to call myself Cortez the Cuddler And when I lay down every night she calls Cortez The Cuddler Now maybe I'm wrong and maybe I'm right when I chop it down (chop it down) History only remembers my plight and that's alright, cuz I tore it down (tore it down) Smeltin' my gold into your mold and takin' it slow into the fold Look at me now And when I look out every day upon the lands I conquered To think about how I was dancing all across the water I never cared much about how I might be remembered I only hope Dona Marina calls Cortez The Cuddler Cortez The Cuddler Cortez The Cuddler Cortez The Cuddler Cortez The Cuddler

(so we ride...) I could not get out of the purple haze It was a dream I wasn't after And growing deaf to all that they would say Still seeing all their laughter Wanted so bad to wash it all away Erase this blackened chapter You better turn back in your time You better leave this boat behind. (so we ride...) So then we set out for the nearest door My little bird and me together I gave a form to every faceless fear Summoned all the evil masters I drew a dot upon the empty page and set ablaze the nearest rafters in the claustrophobic headspace in the claustrophobic headspace in the claustrophobic headspace in the claustrophobic headspace
4.
To the muses of the night, come forth Defenders The serpent's seeking flight, his face is rendered with the poison of the bite like the soul remembers Grant us fortune for to smite his evil embers Grant us courage now to fight these malicious spectres hiding in the night, like the soul remembers like the soul remembers
5.
(Now you know what it so means to be alive raised for the blood that's beating in your heart Now you know what it so means to rip apart raised for the bees a beating in your hive) They gonna take your life in a memory train Plant dey crops in the fields of your spiritual plane You nod to some animal standing in the rain Burn down yr houses these eyes without a brain Lead you down to the water on a blistering sky As the sun starts shinin in the middle of the night They gonna break your body in a tenement fire Gong gong baby as the flames get higher And watch as the spirits come to claim your light Dropped in the fire from a dizzying height Hey Ho! Shackle De Shame Dyin to a god that don't have no name Hey Ho! Chuggedy Joe Him go up da cricka is a bad no no Hey Ho! Shackle De Shame Dyin to a god that don't have no name Hey Ho! Chuggedy Joe Him go up da cricka is a bad no no

You've never seen a sight that's quite like this So full of mermaids and Brazilian mist Small and shifty and quick and spritely The band from Ipanema goes jumping and when we pass you we smile, but you don't see We'd like to welcome you to our next show You may have heard of us in towns you go You've never heard a sound that's quite like this Seduce your heart out like a black snake hiss Small and shifty and quick and spritely The band from Ipanema goes stalking and when we pass you we smile, but you don't see.
7.
Oasis To wake us Awaiting us now is The Lady of The Lake To take us Save us Too soon to drown out This isn't our fate To place us Moondust Dreaming so sound Of the Lady of the Lake Shake us Stardust Gone too soon now The Lady of The Lake
8.
Ask Doctor No He likes your soul He wants to show you how the body hits the needles And all the beetles And all the fields that are dragging to the Mayans Those mad Papayans I got a client that will take all you admire And start the fire And add his likeness to the way in which you eye it The saddest diet The maddest way in which to follow what your after the never after The loudest laughter from the gods you must retire To satisfy her To bring the liars to the truth that you are after You have no answer He's like a cancer for the way in which you wanna You're an iguana Protect the fauna from the clutch of our diseases Our stupid sneezes Our new releases from the church of a sad genius A mad behemoth Foretells the future on a continent cantina A candy apple Now you must grapple with a spirit sucking future Now you must suture What's coming next it will most certainly be
9.
(ooh ooh you) Step on Through Consecrate this bright view The pleasure dome welcomes you Now you know what to do I show you where to go So you know You know You know you know you know you know So let's go (ooh ooh you) And let us now Convene in nests so sound Revealing blessed bounds Memory speak your sounds The pleasure dome weeps its load And it knows Yeah it knows It knows it knows it knows it knows It knows you
10.
I took command of all the scrambled symbols on the ground Reread them blinded by the incoherence of their message Went through my days so sick amid the mute void of this world Was left so hungry by the blindness of my shackled brothers I desecrated all the temples built on broken ground Was left exiled by the cold hand of the prophet preacher I drifted through inverted seas and tread a pathless land Could not conceive of how this all was somehow still my mother I kept a prayer inside my pocket for this bitter world It said somehow 'A thing of beauty is a joy forever' I kept a prayer inside my pocket for this bitter world It said somehow 'A thing of beauty is a joy forever' It said somehow 'A thing of beauty is a joy forever'
11.
(ooh) We lost the boat We took the table from the wall and dragged it cross the room We left our friends in search of deserts far across the world To start again Traverse the garbage moats in broken dream designer coats And see the memory boats that carry all the empty hopes We lost the boat We took the table from the wall and dragged it cross the room We took the table from the wall and dragged it cross the room
12.
City of Gold 01:13
We got to the City of Gold Or so I'm told (ooh) And she's so pretty She's gold, its what I know (ooh) We finally found the fortress walls They sparkled so inert We walked along among the hallowed halls Majestic Sons of Earth!

about

I. Grandiose Mandala (Settle Down)

King Arthur is exiled from Wales, as he is falsely accused of plotting with the Saxons. His loyal Knights accompany him South, where they must flee the mainland and sail to the New World.

II. Cortez The Cuddler

At the same time that Arthur and his men leave on a ship bound for the New World, Cortez has already conquered much of The Valley of Oaxaca. The two dream of each other, though they know not who the other is. The two men await their meeting.

III. Claustrophobic Headspace

Arthur begins his journey. It is a journey of the mind. As he has become a man, he has fought to shed the shackles of his Mind and Self. He has conquered sadness, and despite his fate, is happy to be alive, and ready for the journey. He tells of his tribulations in melancholia, and how he burns the Black Lodge, never looking back...

IV. Hidden Valleys (of Tomorrow)

Arthur invokes the Muses upon his journey. He foresees a much greater enemy: Enemy to All Mankind, Father of the Black Subconscious, Oroboros, The SNAKE. Arthur asks for strength from The Muses, to first know his enemy, then defeat these evil forces...

V. White Jesus Sacrifice

Arthur arrives in the New World. There, he immediately meets Cortez, who has conjured a strange sort of Christianity, mixing Aztec Sacrifice with the need for a Christ Figure. Arthur is to be burned. Arthur sees a vision right before falling into the volcano. He pushes Cortez's son, Luis into the pyre, and escapes with his life. He returns upon the second nightfall and frees his men. They begin the long journey through the jungle.

VI. The Band from Ipanema

Arthur and his men arrive in Ipanema. There, they are greeted with provincial sounds and music, ambrosia of the night. Arthur believes a band of small musicians is following them, but they never reveal themselves.

VII. Lady of The Lake

Arthur and his men are chased by the impish band, forced to the beach, and drown in the Atlantic Ocean. Their fate, however, is not death. They awake in a lake in Ecuador. The Lady of the Lake has saved Arthur and his men.

VIII. Ayahuasca Crawlspace

Arthur and his men meet a Kichwa Shaman, who takes them on an Ayahuasca trip in a sweat lodge tent. A dark spirit speaks to him. Arthur sees many visions of the future of humanity, civilization, religion, and technology. Arthur vomits from his visions.

IX. Invisible Cities

King Arthur and his men travel south to Argentina, as the vision bids them. In Argentina, Arthur meets Kublai Khan, who has ruled South America for many years. Kublai Khan takes his guests to the 7 cities, cities of gemstones and precious metals. Kublai Khan instructs Arthur on how to navigate the cities. Khan tells Arthur of a fabled City of Gold where his dreams will come true. Arthur and his men stay for a fortnight, then leave for the Southern tip of South America. There, they meet an evil tribe that steals their provisions, abandoning them on the Dunes of iDeath.
lyrics

X. Planet Wednesday

Arthur and his men sail on a dingy around the Southern coast of Argentina and Chile, though they cannot escape the Dunes of iDeath on the shores. Arthur looks back upon his travails both in his homeland and onshore. Arthur and his men decide to go into the Dunes of iDeath.

XI. The Dunes of iDeath

Arthur and his men travel through this Godless land, and must face themselves and the SNAKE. Their path is almost impossible.

XII. City of Gold

Almost dead, Arthur and his men soldier on. Finally. Are they alive? Have they died? By the Grace of The Light, King Arthur and his men arrive at the City of Gold. All is Well.
